United in Nima!!!

After months of intense editing we have an amazing exhibition (if I do say so myself, and I will) up on the walls of SF Camerawork.  The show is called United in Nima and it opened last week on January 8, 2009 with over 300 attendees!!!  I just want to thank everyone who made it out and add that if you haven't seen the show yet, there are many events that are going on at SF Camerawork during the duration of the show that you can learn about at www.sfcamerawork.org, but the big one to look for is our closing party/fundraiser/silent auction and premiere of the Adobe Youth Voices multi-media piece we are working on that will incorporate imagery from both Ghana and San Francisco.  That happens on March 25, 2009 from 6-9pm.  Stay tuned for more details.

Big thanks and congratulations to my collaborators on this project Jamie Lloyd and Vivian Chan, and of course, the five students that made it happen; Bethany and Naomi Castro, Marcio Ramirez, Jontonnette "Star" Clark, and Karen Gochez.
